Trial Dates and Location

Free-of-charge trials will run on Saturdays from our training ground at Whitefoot Lane Playing Fields (Whitefoot Lane, BR1 5SQ), starting on Saturday 26 April and continuing until Saturday 24 May. Final decisions on squad selections for the season will be made during the week commencing 26 May.

Registration and Fees

For players selected, registration will take place during the first three weeks of June. There is a one-off registration fee of £85 and monthly subs of £35 thereafter. A sibling discount is also available.

Lewisham Tigers FC is a community club run entirely by volunteers. Registration fees and subscriptions cover kit costs, coach training, pitch hire, equipment, and other associated expenses.

End of Season and Training Schedule

The last training session for the 2024–25 season will be held on Saturday 21 June. The new season will commence in September, with teams training on Saturday mornings and one mid-week evening (either Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday), and matches taking place on Sundays. The club pauses training and games during school holidays.

What to Bring for Trials

On arrival for their first trial, players should be accompanied by an adult who can complete a registration form. All players must wear football boots and shin pads and bring a bottle of water to every trial.

Player Expectations

With the exception of our brand-new U8 Boys team (Year 3 in September), where enthusiasm and a passion for the game are the most important qualities, our FA-registered coaches are looking for players of good ability with experience playing for their school and/or competitively for another team. Players hoping to join our Yellow teams will need to demonstrate a particularly strong standard of play.
